My yearly raise as a health & fitness coach

Its February 2015 which is completely throwing me off right now because I can't believe the first month of the year is gone already! Looking back, this past year has been an amazing one for me. I have officially been working my business as a health & fitness coach for a year and the changes that have happened in my life are just outrageous. If you don't know my story, I was your typical straight A student, going to a great college and hoping to climb my way up the corporate ladder. That was what success meant to me. But after working a couple jobs after college that didn't really fulfill my passion, and seeing how working your ass off for a year turned into a dollar raise, my eyes opened to the possibility of seeing success a different way.
As I started working my business as a healthy and fitness coach part time, I was falling in love with what I did. I took every spare moment I had and put it into my business because it made me happy, and we always want to do more of what makes us happy right? Doing this caused my income as a coach to slowly grow and over the last year, I am just amazed at what has happened.
I share this with you not to brag, but to show you the possibility of what can happen when you go all in with this business. If it wasn't for other coaches before me sharing these milestones, I probably would have never known the potential of this business. Though this is totally not what I imagined myself to be doing, this is 100% what I was made for. I was that straight A student who loved to put my all into my work and my schooling so that I could be the best I could be. As a coach, you get what you put in. I have put in hard work for the last year, and my income reflects that. For a perfectionist, hard working driven person like me, that is EXACTLY the kind of job that I love. Getting back what you put in. Not working hard for a year to get a minor blip of a raise in income.
So back to my raise. January 2014 was the first month I went all in with my business. Between January 2014 and January 2015, I gave myself a $3000/month raise in income. That comes out to be about $18/hour. At my corporate job, I received about a $1-$2 raise after working there for a year and a half. I don't know about you guys, but I don't think I have EVER found a job that has given me an $18/hour pay raise. Like I said, I share this not to brag, but to show you the potential of what can happen when you go all in with this business!
Here is a video I recorded talking a little about this that you can find on my YouTube page:
So what is the moral of the story here? If you are like me, not satisfied with your work, wanting to get back what you put in and wanting the time/financial freedom that is just not possible with the typical 9-5 job, I highly encourage you to reach out to me. YES coaching is different, but different doesn't mean bad. For me, coaching is different in every single amazing way possible and I couldn't be more happy with what I do.
